From Greenpeace to environmental research, mobile phones are being used for activist purposes to bring attention to the needs of the environment.
Used as global positioning systems (GPS) and for sending out messages to registered mobile list to successfully lobby for important environmental legislation mobile phones are becoming important for propaganda and studies.
