Combating Mobile Phone Addiction

Korea

  • 90% of the students age 14 to 19 have mobile phones,
  • 38% of that send more than 1,000 text messages per month
  • 44% are texting even during lectures

A Programm to fight mobile addiction among teenagers has been launched in South Korea.

They say exessive use of the mobile phone is not good for the health. Nowadays teenages world over are using it daily and are indeed addicted. And waste a lot of their parents money. Would other countries adopt the idea?
